Quite a good quality vintage which suffered from the weather capriciousness.
After a particularly mild winter, followed by summery temperatures in May and June, the vineplant developed quite fast,
Unfortunately, the cool and very rainy months of July and August destroyed our hopes for a great local vintage.
The harvest was for most of the period, supported by a beautiful clear sky.
The quality level of the 2000 vintage is essentially due to the grape maturity, the yield and the winegrowers’ expertise.
The white wines are rich, very pure and fruity. They hold a very promising future.
Delicate and sensitive, Pinot Noir doesn’t appreciate climate swings. The wines reveal a beautiful, intense colour. The nose is fresh and fruity. We find here, a balanced, elegant and smooth finish, expressing a beautiful potential.
