Only one question remains here: will the 2005 vintage be a great or absolutely exceptional one ?
A Summer with little to no rain, optimal periods of sunshine and cool nights, followed by a globally fine and hot month of September, enhanced the qualities of this splendid vintage alike 1985, 1990 or 1999 .
The sanitary quality of the grapes was perfect. As for the harvest volumes, they were a littly lower than the year before (-3,5%). With a beautiful balance in acidity and tannins, the reds present classical yet seductive aromas, of little redberries and promise an outstanding substance.
Already very pleasant, the white wines reveal a lovely rich moisture, a great balance and a particularly complex aromatic palette.
All this combined, announces a serene perspective for the future, even if for the time being, the initial question remains unanswered.
